Take a clean terra cotta pot and remove any new stickers, price tags, or labels from the pot.

Paint pots from bottom to top, following the curve of the pots for a smooth finish. Be sure to paint the pot over the drop cloth.

The paint will dry within 5 to 7 minutes. If you feel the pot needs a second coat let the first coat set for approximately ½ hour before you repaint. I leave the inside of the pot plain so that it still can breathe.

You can use any color flat latex interior paint, choose one that will be a nice accent in your home. Plant your favorite plants and enjoy your new pots.
